The battle of Hampden

SCOTLAND V ITALY

This saturday sees one of the biggest games in years to be played at hampden when Scotland take on Italy for a place in next years European Championships in Switzerland/Austria. It should be a brillant day win/lose or draw with the scots already doing brilliantly to get themselves into a postion where it is still possible to qualify. No one would have given the Scotland team a chance when the the group was first announced after being paired with the two world cup finalists in France and Italy and the Ukraine team who made it to the last 16 of the tournament. What the team has achieved is nothing short of phenominal and should be a inspiration for all those people out there who are told there not good enough to do anything,when the Scotland team have shown with a bit of determination and courage even the hardest of tasks cane be done( twice they beat the french 1-0). I for one will be at hampden on saturday to witness this game as i have been at every other home game this season and wil be cheering on the boys in what would be one of the greatest results in scottish history and leave me suffering one of the greatest hangovers like many more in scottish history.
